It’s all about Dad this Sunday. Here are a few suggestions of places for you and your Dad to go on Father’s Day.
1. Brunch or Dinner
We have posted several restaurants serving Father’s Day Brunch for this Sunday. If you can’t do Brunch, take Dad out to Dinner. This will be a great time for you to catch up with each other.
2. The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens
There are plenty of fun things to do and see at The Living Desert. Maybe you went there with your Dad when you were younger. Time to make some new memories! Be sure to check out the fabulous train display.
3. Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
The Tramway is just plain awesome! You and your Dad will love the ride to the top! You may want to grab a bite at the cafe. Don’t forget you camera
4. The Palm Springs Air Museum
The air museum is one of the best in the country! If you Dad is a Veteran, he will probably enjoy the historic aircraft and hangars full of interesting memorabilia.
5. Go to the Movies
There are so many great theaters around the desert, this could be a fun day. Let your Dad pick the flick he wants to see, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show.
6. Play a Round
The Coachella Valley has been called the golf capitol of the United States, and for good reason. Set up the tee time and take your Dad out on the links. When you are finished, maybe lunch in the clubhouse.
7. Check out the Art Museums
The Palm Springs Art Museum has been in the Valley a very long time. They always have great exhibits to see. If your Dad is an art lover, here’s a perfect way to spend the afternoon.
8. Check out Modernism Architecture
Once again the Palm Springs area offers an abundance of this great era in both private homes and business buildings. You and your Dad can make up your own tour on foot or driving around the neighborhoods.
9. Go to the ball Park
Take your Dad to a Palm Springs Power baseball game. These games are plenty of fun for you, your Dad and even the whole family. Even when it’s hot, they have a great mister system.
10. Take a Drive
Pick your Dad up at his place and let him decide on a Father’s Day destination! You’ll have time on the way to catch up on each other’s lives and make some new memories too.
