Adele had to adjust her concert after her son was hit in the eye with some firework debris.
Adele was rehearsing her concert on Tuesday in Perth, Australia when her grand finale got out of hand. Her 4-year-old son, Angelo, was watching her soundcheck when the fireworks were shot off. Unfortunately, he got a piece of debris from the fireworks in his eye. As a result Adele canceled the fireworks at the rest of her shows. She told the crowd that night, “Up until last night, we did have fireworks for you…My son was watching [soundcheck] in the crowd..a bit of debris went in his eye so we got rid of them.”
She did joke with the crowd though, asking them if they still wanted the fireworks. “Let’s get a cheer for fireworks if you want them. Let’s get a ‘boo’ if you don’t want s–t in your eyes.” Ultimately, the crowd cheered for the fireworks, so Adele said she’d bring them back “next time”.
