The Coachella Valley is in full Holiday spirit. Here are some places to check out to get in the mood!
1. The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Palm Desert and Indian Wells
A wonderful time is waiting for you and your family at The Living Desert. Be sure to put this one on your list of must things this season. Over a million lights, displays, entertainment and of course Santa all are waiting for you!
2. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Palm Springs
This great attraction makes just about every list we do. Take the ride to the top of the mountain and enjoy the wonderful views! There’s a good chance there will snow at the top too!
3. Robolights, Palm Springs
Sci-fi fans and lovers of Christmas decorations must see this amazing display. Kenny Irwin has made this amazing display an annual event for many years for all to enjoy! The display happens nightly free of charge, but donations are accepted.
4. Candy Cane Lane, Cathedral City
A great Christmas tradition, Candy Cane Lane offers fans of light displays a wonderful experience. Family’s on Minerva Road, Cathedral City offer the public a great experience every year through the Holidays.
5. Take a drive through Palm Springs Modern neighborhoods, Palm Springs
Here is an easy and fun way to enjoy displays that offer something very Palm Springs. Take a drive in the neighborhoods and check out Santa, Palm Springs style!
6. Explore the many Palm Springs area Hotel Lobbies
There are many beautiful hotels and resorts in the Coachella Valley. Many are decorated beautifully for the Holidays. Make an evening of fun enjoying the lights and displays.
7. Take a Walk Around the Palm Springs Inns, Palm Springs
There is a wonderful area just outside downtown Palm Springs that houses many historic Inns. Most are decorated for the Holidays. Stroll around with family and friends and enjoy the scenery.
8. Window Shop Along El Paseo, Palm Desert
It’s been called the Rodeo Drive of the Palm Desert. Take a walk by the beautifully decorated store fronts that offer World class shopping! Maybe you’ll see something that is perfect for that special someone on your list!
9. The La Quinta Resort, La Quinta
This historic resort offers a great Christmas experience. You’ll love their spectacular Christmas tree, nostalgic decorations, fire pits and breakfast with Santa. Guests can enjoy an outdoor screening of, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” the iconic film by Frank Capra who spent a great deal of time at the resort.
10. Palm Springs Village Fest, Palm Springs
This long standing tradition is fun year round and especially during the Holidays. The Villagefest happens every Thursday evening 6-10 pm. You’ll be able to stroll through blocks of vendors with unique items perfect for gift giving. Food and entertainment await you. It’s dog friendly and admission is free.
