Top 10 Places To See Live Music In The Coachella Valley

There are many places to find great live music around the Coachella Valley. We are really fortunate to have two huge music events locally that have worldwide fame.

Here’s my top ten list for you to check out in no particular order.

1. Coachella Music Festival, Indio

Coachella, a fabulous three day event at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, featuring great music acts from all eras! This back-to-back weekend event just wrapped up, but Coachella fans are still remembering all the great events that by the way also include fabulous art exhibits too!

2. Stagecoach Music Festival, Indio

Stagecoach, Country music’s finest at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. Stagecoach always follows after Coachella; and unlike Coachella, it’s one weekend. Many of your favorites, old and new will be performing!

3. McCallum Theatre, Palm Desert

The fabulous McCallum Theatre features great entertainment all season long. Their variety is hard to beat and their auditorium is stellar.

4. Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage

Let’s talk casinos and start with: Agua Caliente Casino. They feature great entertainment year round and can be found on Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage.

5. Fantasy Springs Casino, Indio

Fantasy Springs Casino has their special events center that also has great entertainment year round. They also feature live acts at their Rock Yard. For more

6. Spotlight 29 Casino, Indio

Another Coachella Valley venue, Spotlight 29 Casino features live entertainment with great variety. They, like the others, have concerts year round and you can check them out.

7. Schmidy’s Tavern, Palm Desert

If you’re looking for more of a laid back atmosphere you should check out Schmidy’s Tavern in Palm Desert. They have a fun crowd and some very good bands!

8. The Hood Bar and Pizza, Palm Desert

The Hood Bar is in Palm Desert and features live music and great pizza. The Hood has “Open Mic” nights and have also had big names like Modern English.

9. The Village Pub, Palm Springs

The Village Pub in downtown Palm Springs is a long time local hang out that has featured locals for years! They stay open late too and won’t kick you out til 1:30am!

10. Neil’s Lounge, Indio

Another long time tradition on the other end of the valley in Indio is Neil’s Lounge. They feature a Western-themed saloon and they are best known for their karaoke nights! For all the fun check them out on highway 111 in Indio! Just look for the crowd!
